First Fleet Services was built on a simple premise: the people best suited to manage a fleet are the ones who have spent their careers inside them.
Our founders bring more than six decades of combined experience in fleet maintenance and management — not in the abstract, but hands-on, on the ground, in the shops. One has been in this industry since 1995, beginning with one of the largest corporate fleets in the country, maintaining more than 35,000 vehicles under Southwestern Bell Telephone before spending the next three decades working alongside federal, state, and municipal agencies across the United States. The other built his career in executive leadership of government fleet contracts, with direct operational responsibility over municipal programs in Texas, Florida, and beyond — including a program that consistently achieved fleet availability rates above 98%.
Together, they have worked in virtually every dimension of this industry: fleet management system implementation, large-scale contract transitions, workforce development, performance standard compliance, and long-term customer relationship management with demanding public-sector clients.
First Fleet Services was formally established in January 2024 and is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. We are a purpose-built company — not a staffing firm, not a diversified contractor dabbling in fleet. Fleet maintenance management for federal, state, and local government agencies is all we do, and all we intend to do.
